The Role

With a recent acquisition by a huge global business, this is a great opportunity to work alongside a team of industry experts where you will have an integral role in one of their key areas of the business, developing web applications, analysing existing software applications and designing highly scalable, testable code for the business' leading platform for their clients in the automotive industry, with their products being essential and utilised by high-profile brands to ensure their customer's financial loyalty.

The platform has just recently had a complete revamp and update to the latest technology meaning no legacy system work for you! They have a multi-tenant system with a Microservices architecture in the middle, Python back end that has just been transitioned from PHP and React on the front end. They work in fortnightly sprints with a clear and direct plan of what is required from you and your peers, so you are always in the loop of what needs to be done without being deviated from the tasks at hand.

As mentioned, the technologies they use include React, Python, Flask, Elasticsearch and they also work with JIRA so ideally are looking for a candidate with commercial experience in all of this however, they are open to a candidate that may be more front end, react focused who is keen to learn Python and become more full stack as the team of 9 all work full stack.

They love to see previous work, whether that is commercial, individual or GitHub with work in React, Python or any other of the technology they currently work with so this would be great to have access to ahead of interviewing as they love to hear about your work!

Full Stack Software Developer role requirements:

• Solid commercial experience in a similar role ideally utilising both React and Python or solid experience in just one and open to working full stack
• Any experience in the following would be highly beneficial - Flack, ElasticSearch, MySQL and JIRA
• Happy working fully remote (Must be based in the UK)
